“I don't know if I qualify as an artist but I sure was struggling that sunday, when John helped me out. The day before I met John, I took my wife and my (4) kids on an outing. They had a blast. Kids jumping over straw bales, pie judging contest (free pie), apple bobbing, Jack Ford (a real artist - local musician) singing and playing his guitar. On our way back, the hood of my already beat up van slammed open and broke the windshield. I decided to fix it the next day (sunday), so I popped the guitar strings off of my daughter's classical guitar and headed to junk yard. It was a learning experience. The two strings I got almost got me through cutting the whole perimeter of glass when the last of the guitar string broke. I tried to pry the glass off, but it broke too. Here I was back where I started at 3pm on Sunday. I needed more guitar string. So I called and called till John answered to tell me his business hours were Mon- Friday. But he didn't hang up. So I asked if he was in the store and if he'd be willing to let me in if I got there within 30 minutes and he said yes! That saved my day, thanks John! Btw, they moved to 3800 lakeside ave.”

“I went for the ladies night out about a week ago or so and it was really nice. The owner was very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for. A lot of very interesting and different items it is so definitely worth just going and looking I guarantee you you will find something. On a side note they sell various jams and jellies also from a local vendor and I am absolutely in love with the tart cherry jam if this makes sense to anyone...."it tastes like Christmas"! The beautiful kitty that also roams around is an absolute treasure. Stop by you won't be disappointed. He went above and beyond to ensure that our project was completed in a timely manner, including coming out himself to finish tiling our backsplash! We were so happy with our kitchen backsplash remodel that we used them again when we had plumbing difficulties to fix our bathroom floor and pantry ceiling. “Party Place in Avon was awesome, even when I waited until the last minute (which I know was my fault and I don’t suggest)!! I didn’t place an order ahead of time. I came in right before close and didn’t realize they stopped blowing up balloons at 7:30. At first, 1 worker told me no they wouldn’t blow up the 2 balloons. I panicked as I needed the balloon the next morning for my son’s birthday. Stephanie came up and was so kind and understanding, saying she would do it. “We had Dreamscaping do the install for our inground River Pool. We selected them in part due to the high quality of pool they offer, the very clear and easy to understand contract compared to some other companies that just offered "packages", the focus on healthy pool water. Having the natural water with UV Light Sanitation makes it so nice to swim and not come out smelling like chemicals. The project came out beautiful and even the inspectors were impressed with how well the equipment pad was laid out and put together, the way the plumbing, etc was done.”

“After ordering tile for two bathrooms at another place in Avon Lake and month later tile still not in we demanded our money back. Went to Premier Custom Flooring. What a breathe of fresh air. Carl came out and measured and Jackie put in the order. The quote was good and tile came in within a week but problem getting transition stripes from supplier. Not their fault though. They came day before Thanksgiving at 9 am. The two men worked their tails off. Never took a break and finished up at 3pm. The floors are beautiful and workmanship superb. She is extremely talented in helping me with shirt designs, banners, customized items for my customers and other special orders. She is on time with her orders, keeps me informed on the status of my order and best of all, she is very competitive with her prices, which are usually less than what I would pay at another print shop or chain store. And I like keeping my business local! If anyone has had a less than satisfactory experience with her, then I question whether they came in with a bad attitude or unrealistic expectations in the first place! You reap what you sow. I have another special order to take to Special Effects this week and I know my customer will be delighted with the quality of her work! Special Effects may be the best kept secret in Wellington. The prices range from $1.00 to $25.00, they're fairly prices but some things can definitely pushed above the radar for a price range. Couldn't find a cart, had to ask customer, went back out. Should be some carts inside greenhouse. Seems like 1 place to get carts, which wasn't where I entered. Frustrating. Big variety.”
