“Updating now at the end of March from my previous review. The install went flawlessly and the personnel were polite and knowledgeable. From NIGHT ONE, my arthritic knee pain when in bed disappeared, and hasn't bothered me at all at night since then, despite the fact that it's gotten worse during the day. I highly recommend Sleep Number beds and the personnel who sell and install them! We went to Sleep Number first when mattress shopping, as I wanted to see their products before going anywhere else. Spencer was our store associate, and he was fantastic! We felt well informed and well taken care of, like we were important customers--and never felt pressured. We went to one other mattress store, tried several other brands of mattresses (which were pricier than we thought) and decided Sleep Number was the way to go. When I called to order, Julie took our order, and she, also, was fantastic! She put up with my fumbling for information and was unfailingly pleasant. The in-store experience was just about perfect. However, we tried to add a frame and the 800 number customer service was not so great. There was a 3-hour wait for a call back. When someone did call back, I was told that if I wanted to order a frame, that would change the delivery date. As we want the bed ASAP, we decided to not order the frame. I don't understand the issue, as I would think the frames are standard and not custom built. I did contact the store regarding this issue, but no one there seemed able to do anything about it, other than tell me to call Customer Service. This is the only blemish on a very positive experience, to this point, and the store missed out on the additional sale of a product. Hope the installation and the bed, itself, don't disappoint!”
