I had my grandmother stayed here twice. Both times were for very different reasons but both times she got the care she needed and deserved. The first time she was here for Therapy! She had lost a lot of strength after some falls in her home. The Therapy department was truly amazing and helped her meet all of her goals! They were so kind and welcoming. She didn’t want to leave! The day she admitted she was in a wheelchair.. the day she left she walked out to the car to go home! It was so great to see. The second time she was here she was at the end of her life. The staff was amazing, caring and took great care of her and made sure she was as comfortable as possible. I am forever grateful for Ridgewood Manor.
As a nurse, I can tell you that I have seen the best and the worst of many situations. I choose Ridgewood Manor because I am confident that the care being given here is compassionate, competent and complete. The first thing I noticed when I came here was laughter. Laughter from the residents and from the staff. It was a welcome change from what I was used to. People here seem to enjoy being here. The facility is very pretty and clean as well. I see employees treating residents like family and the residents return this treatment as well. I would have no issue bringing my own family member for for any type of care should the need ever arise. We would love to care for your loved one too!
The staff at Ridgewood Manor is very friendly And professional. Every time I come here They always welcome me with warm hearts and open arms. They will always make you feel at home. Also to mention they give top notch care! The Nursing and Therapy Teams are awesome!
I have worked in skilled nursing since I became an RN in 2012. Of the places I have worked, this place boasts, by far, the most compassionate caregivers I have ever had the pleasure of working alongside. The feel of the building is generally very positive. The staff are supportive of each other and truly work hard to try to take good care of people - both the people that live here and the people that work here. In the past, when asked where I work, I would give a very vague response of "Oh, a skilled nursing facility in such and such city." I now proudly tell people that I work at Ridgewood Manor.
If you think you know this building from its past history, I encourage you to check it out now. I'm super proud of this place.
