I read the reviews and I’m here to say I went Friday and they have been nothing but helpful attentive and great I was upset going in because Wells Fargo wouldn’t give me the time of day twice now so when I went to BofA everyone was polite and great maybe they just need to hire more help but it’s Portsmouth most employee prospects are in the military or felons wouldn’t be able to work at the bank . It’s a little further but customer service for me at least was awesome oh and Wells Fargo has no security and keep their vault wide open just saying
All good.
Got gas for lawnmower.. need to give employees a living wage.
I have had a couple of issues previously with my account and did not like the service I received when I called the corporate number but the customer service at this bank makes me feel secure about keeping my account here. The last incident I had I called the corporate number it seemed like I kept giving me the run around and after calling twice within a week No one could give me a direct answer and it took close to a month before I got a letter from the company to actually get an explanation from the bank about the incident. The service I received at the bank though was the total opposite and actually made me regain my confidence in this company. Swati Mutreja is a relationship banker there and she is one of the sweetest and well mannered person I have ever met. She is very knowledgeable of her job and tries her best to explain things the best way possible. She also gives you great tips on how to use alot of the banks service options to your advantage. She treats you like family and you can tell she has your best interest at heart and to me that means alot because living in this world today that is very rare. Just wanted her to know I appreciate all the help and to keep up the good work. Bank of America needs to use her example and hire more people with her superior personality and this company will stay in business forever.
Their restroom was awesome, you gotta go, you gotta go.
I went to this location for the first time today. I’m kind of new to the area, and this branch just isn’t the closest to my home (normally go to the one on College Dr since it’s just a bit closer). I will continue to only go to this location from now on. Nothing against the one on College Dr, but my experience today left a lasting impression. The service was rather slow, but different transactions take time. Only one teller was working, so maybe they can find a way to have at least two tellers working considering the line was out the door as others have mentioned. BUT, every employee I dealt with was beyond friendly and helpful. I am currently about 36 weeks pregnant and had to go in to make my transactions. It wasn’t that warm inside, but carrying this extra weight, made me a lot warmer and sweaty than usual. Melinda was assisting customers as they entered and actually moved her own personal desk fan to aim at me while I was standing in line. That little gesture was SO appreciated. I cannot remember the teller’s name, but she helped to answer some of my questions and was just so helpful too. Will definitely go back if I need to go in person for banking!
