The Sisters of Notre Dame were very hospitable, and the quiet reflective atmosphere helped me connect with God.

Had a great quiet retreat. Beautiful property and facilities. They were considerate of my privacy and joyful, loving and welcoming, even down to the groundskeeper.😊

I spent two days and nights at the Lial Renewal Center. It is a perfect place for quiet reflection, prayer, reading and writing. The Sisters are amazingly hospitable. They radiate the love of God when I meet them and also are sensitive to privacy. The exteriors of the buildings are aesthetically lovely and interface gracefully with the pond and the woods. The interior design uses natural light to its best advantage. Every detail of color, furnishing and spiritual objects are harmonious and lovely. Also, the whole center is delightfully clean. The sister at the center offer an ideal site for personal retreats. They also have excellent facilities for groups as well. Thank you sisters!

Spent a couple days there for a retreat from normal life in the city. It’s a beautiful place- nice paths through the woods and around the pond, really quiet. The facility is beautiful, super clean, and accommodating. The sisters there are hospitable and kind. You can tell they want you to be blessed by your time there. For spiritual renewal, this is a great place to go.

A wonderful gem in NW Ohio. The sisters (aka staff) are terrifically flexible and wonderfully accommodating. I look forward to my visit every time (I'm coming this weekend for my sixth retreat with other pastors in my denomination).
