There are not enough flowery adjectives to describe the care my mother and father in law received at Greenbriar these last three years. It was incredibly hard for them to move from their beloved home, but my father in law had reached the point he could no longer drive and they both needed assistance in every day living being very elderly (90+). My mother in law used to tell us, "The people who work here are just angels - they take such good care of us. The help me with my hose in the morning, they massage my legs, the help us whenever we need it and they're so compassionate." I saw that for myself this past week after my mother in law passed away at 92 and my father in law - now 96- was confused and anguished over her death. The staff could NOT have been more caring or compassionate. It's so hard for my husband and I to live in Arizona, but knowing they have been so cared for the last years of their lives is comforting. There may be more expensive or fancy facilities, but Greenbriar is a family of people that is unmatched in my experience.
