Only stopped here briefly, but the park is beautiful and looks to have a decent disc golf course.
This place is amazing!! Well takencare of and sooo clean. Worth the drive for a wonderful day out for swimming, boating, grilling, pinics; I will continue to go there I love this lake beautiful
Beautiful State Park. Lots to do and see. Lots of birds flying and swimming about. It can be a little loud since Interstate 76 runs right across the lake.
It was so clean and might I add peaceful! Although I'm not a boater, it was a joy just to watch others! The only downside was the availability of the picnic table that centers the fishing pier. Other than that, it was a great place to visit!
Fished here a few weeks ago on the boat. Many folks out trolling for Muskie. The lake gets busy around 3:00 PM with watersports, and the fishing is pretty difficult at that time.
This is a pretty large lake. There are no wake zones between the bridges separating the north and south of the lake. Milton is an unlimited horsepower lake and once up on plane is fairly easy to navigate.
It took roughly 3 minutes to get back to the no wake zones traveling at 55 mph on plane. There is potential for small white caps and it can be semi choppy/windy on the south side of the body of water. You should use common sense when in this area.
