I stop in petro USA from time to time. I never once had any problems with the place. One time I dropped a gallon of milk on my way out and it broke open going everywhere. They were completely understanding and gave me another one on the house. They didn’t have to do that. I want to say thanks for the milk. It happened probably 7 or 8 years ago. The gas is always good too. We fill up work vehicles, lawn mowers, atvs, our personal vehicles. I’ve never had a bad tank of gas and we have bought more gas than your average person. I promise I’ve bought at least a tank of gas from every batch that was delivered there in the last 20 years. So those people that post bad reviews about the gas aren’t very smart and must have filled up there cars with diesel. The lights are good too. Maybe someone forgot to turn them on I don’t know. I can’t believe what people go out of there way to complain about. I was born and raised out here and when the sun goes down it’s dark. It’s been that way for thousands of years. It’s not the gas stations fault. It’s a gas station so no one thinks of leaving a review unless they are mad but I’m gonna continue going there. They can’t get rid of me.
Stopped in to grab something for lunch while delivering packages in the area. This is the only place for 5 miles in every direction I think. Purchased some string cheese and Amish jerky. The lady working counter was great. I was expecting to be hassled for using a credit card as is often the case in smaller rural businesses but not an issue here. The store is really small but well stocked and appeared clean. My only suggestion would be to bring in some of the typical gas station pre made subs, chicken salad sandwiches, or trail and cheese cups. Place was busy and lots of truckers there when I stopped in could be a great opportunity to sell some more substantial food items. Overall, would recommend for a pit stop if you're in the area.
