The trails were muddy in places, but the sunset lit the sky on fire tonight. The ledges offered stunning views, and the carvings were a fascinating glimpse into the past. I had a great time hiking here and can't wait to come back.
Fantastic trail for a peaceful walk about n hike!
This is not a paved trail, this is definitely off reading.
Proper shoes and trekking poles are a good idea.
There is minimal parking with a over flow lot for trailers wanting to use the bridle trail.
No WC located here. No bike trail, this is strictly for walking, hiking and bridle.
Enjoy the carvings of Nettie Worden absolutely amazing.
Very cool story behind this piece of tranquility.
This was really nice to hike. It's October when all the leaves turn and crisp air all around. The rock formations are fantastic! The carvings are fun, especially the one you look hard for. The elevations are medium to steep so small kids will complain.
Lots of dog walkers and a wide bridal trail for the horses. Overall a super nice place to visit more than once.😉
Beautiful park and close to major road. No restrooms. The walk started level and is marked by small racoon signs. Soon it turned into rocks and drops and wash out areas. DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS like I did. It was worth it. Nice ledges and only .7 mile loop. The carvings are so nice and mosscovered.
Nice hike with lots of interesting rock formations along the way including the face carvings. I did find one spot that I felt the path wasn’t marked well. I ended up having to backtrack and find the marked path again. Very nice for a brief hike. I’d go again.
