“Zion Church is a place to meet with fellow Christians and attend service. The youth are always active and everyone is welcome. When we started going there, we were welcomed at once. The youth have a wonderful Sunday school program and have a junior and senior choir. The church is rich in history and always will have a place in my heart. The pastor, Rev. Jim Watson, is a kind man who has a loving heart and is great at reaching out to the youth. On Wednesdays, the youth grades 7-8 meet for conformation starting with a meal. And then proceed to learn about what it means to be a christian. If you take a look at the sanctuary, you may notice the beauty of the building. It has an organ, a piano and wonderful stained glass.”

“On Nov 4, 2021 Schaefer plumbers Aaron and Bobby came to our house in Valley City to reroute our basement sump pump to an outdoor downspout. They were right on time and got the job done in about 2 1/2 hours. They were very nice and very professional. They did and excellent job and cleaned up everything when they were done. The price Schaefer Plumbing charged was well worth the money for service provided. I thought about doing the job myself. But I’m really glad I hired these professionals to do the job. I would definitely recommend these two guys and Schaefer Plumbing to anyone with plumbing needs. “John is just an absolute great guy. Once I was doing the brakes on my truck at home and ran into an issue with my ABS. Thinking I was going to have to take it in to someone I called Delta Automotive. John took the time to talk with me over the phone giving me some suggestions and ideas to try. We talked probably 10 min and he helped me figure it out without having to take my truck in anywhere. Another time I actually took my truck down to him but of course the issue finally cleared up on the way there. He still took the time to look things over and talk with me, offering suggestions of what to look for and such. If you are looking for a honest and reliable local mechanic, look no further than Delta Automotive Repair located right in downtown Valley City. They really seem to care about the customer, have a really nice shop, and are just all around awesome guys. They get a 5 star rating from me any day!!”

“In my limited experience in the fishkeeping hobby I have frequently run across "purists" that possess a holier than thou attitude about the practice. So often, that I chose to shop exclusively online for my supplies rather than waste time arguing with a salesperson. I happened to visit Aquatica because a missing PVC fitting was stalling construction of my indoor pond. The owner was onsite and the salesperson was incredibly helpful. Normally where I would encounter a confrontation about my method, she responsibly offered some information that could affect my decision and then -GET THIS- she listened to my explanation! Well, I ended up coming home with 5 fish, a pump, an aquarium, a roll of filter floss, and 5 plants.”

“This is a very nice B&B run by a lovely woman named Alice--along with her Great Dane named Stella. Alice took us for an ATV ride through her 100+ acre property--woods, fields, pond, creek. Heated above-ground pool. The house is fairly close to the road, but traffic noise did not bother us. Definitely recommend Alice and sweet Stella!”
