Helpful. Prepared. Patient.
Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina is an excellent example of the 19th Century rural garden cemetery created to be a public park as well as a burial ground.
Beautifully maintained cemetery with several very historic stones.Great place to take a spring walk and read about the early settlers of Medina, Ohio.
My father has been buried here for 21 years and they still honor his grave and military background with a flag. It's the simple things that count and mean the most to me.
Visited the Spring Grove Civil War encampment and reenactment, which was a part of the City of Medina's bicentennial celebration. For a first time event, there was a nice selection of period reenactors and demonstrations, including Abraham Lincoln, Buffalo Bill Cody, and George Armstrong Custer.
Spring Grove Cemetery lies between St. Rt. 3 and St. Rt. 18 on the east side of Medina. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and dates back to the 1880's.
