I've been going to this theater since it opened in the 90's and plan to do so for as long as I can. The original 90's aesthetic has lasted long enough to now have a "vintage" feel to it which is nice imo.
Pros:
Usually not too busy so seating and concession wait times are rarely an issue. Screens are crystal clear and audio sounds great, never blaring or staticky. They serve Pepsi products now so that's a win in my book. For an older theater they do a great job keeping the place clean. Staff is always polite and friendly. Never any issues with parking. If you can get to early showings you have a good chance of having a theater all to yourself.
Cons:
Seats could use an upgrade, if you are used to large leather seats that recline with tons of aisle space you find yourself a bit confined. The theater is showing signs of aging, the front entrance where you used to buy tickets has been shut down and the concession stand appears to have been downgraded in recent years, but if you are just looking for popcorn, soda or candy don't worry they still have you covered.
The theater is nice and clean. While I do not have accessibility needs, this theater is not very accessible. None of the doors are accessible to those with mobility needs. Just informing.
I always like going to regal Cinema I've never had a problem there. Everyone is very nice and my cashier guy at the concession stand with training and the person that was training him was wonderful. She was very patient, she was very kind. I used to do a lot of training at work and she was very helpful to him without seeming condescending. The movie is great, we went and saw top gun which didn't disappoint. I will go back to regal Cinema again because that's kind of my hometown theater and I am always happy when I leave there :)
Except the cost of the concession stand lol. I went on $3 national theater day or whatever it was called where each ticket was $3 and they charged me a fee if you book online. So it was like $3 for the tickets but then it was like $5 to buy them online or some crazy stuff. So that was frustrating and the cost of the concession stand was outrageous I must say. I know inflation yada yada but $10 for popcorn and $10 for a drink?
Living here in town I find that well. This is the only place to go see movies. As usual. You know concessions are always a bit too expensive and I do wish they had reclining seats. But overall I've always had a good experience at the regal Cinema here in Medina, Ohio.
