I have worked as an RN @ Sanctuary for almost 2 months now. Coming from 26 yrs of hospital nursing, this is a HUGE change for me! I am still adjusting, but starting to feel more confident. The staffing somedays is slim, but anyone in this profession knows that is across the board anymore. It’s hard work. The staff there are great to work with & work well as a team. Management has made me feel comfortable from day 1. I feel like my opinions are valued & I could go to any one of them if I needed anything. I enjoy the residents. I go into work everyday realizing that I’m going into THEIR home & I feel it’s important to remember that. I’ve read a lot of bad reviews & think that maybe some people just aren’t cut out for this kind of work.
I was a previous employee at Sanctuary of Wadsworth for 2 years, I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques. I’ve been an aide for 28 years and the management and staff were really helpful when I needed assistance. If it wasn’t for my back injury (happened 2008) I would 100% still be there.
I see a lot of negative comments and I’m guessing they no longer have a job there and are disgruntled ex employees.
My opinion is with all of that negativity and hatred, I wouldn’t want that around my family member!
I was also greatful that when there is/was any concerns between employees or if 1 employee was in need, management always had an open door policy, and are easy to talk to about anything.
The housekeepers always keep the facility clean and safe for the residents.
The facility is staffed just over regulations required by state.
Again if it wasn’t for my injury I would still be there. Thank you for the opportunities given to me, it is greatly appreciated. It felt like one big family working together.
I have had the pleasure of being An aide for 3 years and a nurse for 1 year at sanctuary. I am very grateful for my experience I have gotten at sanctuary. I learned a lot , always ❤️Ed all of the patients, staff works very well together, the nurses have amazing team work skills . I moved on for new experiences as for being a new nurse and beginning my career. I can’t thank Diana and Nikki enough for welcoming me to do my clinical experience here during school and the year of experience I’ve gotten as a nurse here, I’ve learned every skill here that I now have, I gained knowledge from my fellow nurses here, that I don’t know that I would have gained anywhere else. Very knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated team of nurses. Also thankful for a dedicated and caring team of nurses aides.
Forever thankful and blessed to have been part of this facility.
I have worked for Sanctuary of Wadsworth for a little less than a year. It is safe to say that the people who work here are not only my coworkers but also my family. As well as the residents. People make or break a job and this job is made because of the people that work here tirelessly to keep this wonderful facility looking the way it does! Sanctuary not only cares for their residents but their staff as well!
I have worked at the Sanctuary for less than a year and it truly is a great place to work. When I first started I never felt like I was the new employee, all the staff is super helpful and made me feel like I was part of the team immediately! Everyone works together and truly cares about the residents here!
