“We saw Dr. Lassaletta after struggling with infertility for 2 years. We also experienced 2 miscarriages during that time. We were broken, hopeless and exhausted by the time we got to her. We had already seen the reproductive endocrinologist (RE) and had been diagnosed with "infertility of unknown etiology" . The RE was really pushing us towards IVF. We felt very uncomfortable with the small work up that the RE performed and it seemed like he had no interest in figuring out the underlying cause, just wanted to make money on IVF. We saw Dr. Lassaletta for naprotechnology for the first time in June and were pregnant by August. She did a thorough work up between June and July, diagnosed our issue, and made a treatment plan. We got pregnant on the first try using the treatment that Dr. Lassaletta prescribed for us (low dose clomid and serial post ovulation HCG injections). Pretty incredible after 2 years of infertility. She has continued to follow us (progesterone levels every 2 weeks) throughout our pregnancy to ensure a viable and healthy pregnancy. After feeling so alone for so long, it has been such a blessing to have found a provider who was actually able to help us. I am now 26 weeks and due in early May. In the interest of giving a full disclosure- Dr. Lassaletta does tend to run behind, somewhere in between 30 and 60 minutes. I always bring my laptop to my appointments (can connect to the summa guest wifi in her office building) and I bring my "to do" list. I often get quite a bit of work done while I am waiting. I value the time that Dr. Lassaletta spends with me- she is always available to answer all questions and never makes me feel rushed. I feel that you can't "have your cake and eat it too". You can't have a provider that listens, really tries to get to the bottom of the issue, answers all your questions AND runs exactly on time.”
