Silver Creek Metro Park Archery Range

Great spot that is greatly appreciated by the landlocked locals. Always clean and well kept. There are times of the year that it is very busy, but I have only ever had to wait for a lane once

A decent range with targets already set up, with posts with distances marked out, arrangements to put arrows and bow during the shooting. Not too crowded and can be visited any time of the day.

Great FREE outdoor archery range. Located near Silver Creek MetroPark.
The range includes targets from 10 yards to 60 yards. There is even a raised platform with two stations on top.
What I liked w as the two sets of 10 and 20 yard targets. Was easy to switch between the two targets.
The Metroparks do a great job of maintaining the range.
The targets are arranged in three separate groupings. So you don't feel crowded.
In total there are twelve separate targets.
Definitely recommended.

A nice use of public funds. The course is beneficial for both target and hunter archers. There is both a "flat" target setup and a raised platform to simulate use of a treestand.
It is very easy to lose an arrow. The fields around the course are overgrown and a mistake in release can cost you an arrow.
The targets are in good to fair condition. A couple are in need of replacement.
All-in-all, considering that this is free, and has target distances up to 40 yards, I whole-heartedly endorse the use of this range.
