“A great location at a great price! We were completely satisfied with this hotel that had a clean, spacious, and very comfortable room with a beautiful view of the lake. The downtown is walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants nearby and, in fact, a nice Italian one across the parking lot! Sadly, we were there on a Monday night and most eating places were closed on Monday—I think that might not be the case during the summer season. We will be back in the summer! My only criticism would be the lighting in the room. This blows me away when I get into a comfortable room and turn on the lights and they are the super bright white LED type with a color temperature that is very cold—think florescent lighting but worse because of the intensity. AND the sad thing is that, for the same price, you could use LED lighting with the same brightness that casts a warm temperature glow around 2700 that would mimic incandescent lighting that's warm and inviting. Since the sink is in the room, when you turn on the lights (and there are 6 of them across the mirror), you feel like you are in a Walmart parking lot at night. So easy to fix but some owners just don't see it. The lighting did not damage our experience. We were not in there that much. We loved the place and will plan a trip back next year.”
