My experience with the Mommy and Me class taught by Jennifer has been wonderful. It is hard to find things to do sometimes outside of the home with a baby, that will be fun for both mom and child, but the Mommy and Me yoga class has proven to be just that. My baby has so much fun with the other children, and I get some much needed time to stretch, relax, and hang out with other moms. I highly recommend this class!
I love this studio and the excellent teachers! People are friendly and you will see all ages, abilities, and body types. On the third floor of an office building, there’s always plenty of parking. There are two separate rooms, the sun 🌞 room is at the end of the left hall. The moon🌙 room is midway to the right. These are the teachers I’m most familiar with: Studio owner, Debbie teaches 1.5 hour easy stretching and flowing with strong emphasis on proper alignment. She does beginner series several times per year. Karen’s classes are similar, but with more emphasis on strengthening and conditioning. (We had fun today with inversions and arm balances.) Shari’s more challenging classes are all about the core, but she keeps us laughing through it all. Yira’s classes are a bit of everything with lots of movement.
Inner Dance is a wonderful studio to practice yoga. The rooms are clean, quiet....the scents are relaxing and invite deep breathing.....all equipment and aids are ready for your use. I have been comfortable dropping in on any class they provide but have found a steady practice with Karen. Her energy is inviting, she delivers an intentional practice and and is always available to answer questions. Thank you Karen, and Inner Dance!
I have been practicing yoga for over five years and depend on a regular practice to keep me at my best physically and spiritually. I have been a regular at Inner Dance Yoga classes for about 2 years now. The spaces are comfortable and full of options (bolsters, blocks, straps, balls, eye pillows, rollers, knee pads, extra mats for an added layer of cushion, etc) that help take my practice to a new level . I have taken classes with several different instructors and each has been been welcoming and careful to ask about my skill level, whether I had any limitations, and what I might desire to work on. During class they have been able to offer options and careful instruction (including at times personal intervention from the instructor during class) that was easy to follow, helps me get the most out of my practice, and prevents injury. Whether you're a beginner, self taught, or a yoga veteran you will be able to get what you need out of a class at Inner Dance. There are also a variety of styles offered to ensure everyone can find the type of class or instructor that they are looking for. Cost is very reasonable and paying for classes is easy: drop in rates, passes, cash, credit card, or check. I highly recommend.
We (my kiddo and i) have been going to mommy and me yoga for a while now and it is so fantastic. I stay at home with him right now, so it's a great time to just get out of the house and meet up with other mamas and little ones. The environment is awesome, very welcoming and nursing friendly, everyone has been so nice and we love Jennifer! The class is in a safe location, easy to find, at a great time of day and well worth the cost. I have tried one other yoga studio around and our experience with Inner Dance has been just what we are looking for. Love!! We love this class!
