James (Owner) was able to diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle after it shut off while I was driving down the road. It turned out it was my alternator. I called the car garage in Miamisburg where I always take my vehicle to. They quoted me $820 for labor and parts.
James quoted me 300 for labor, and even went online to find a highly-rated supplier through Amazon to get an alternator ($214) so I could save money versus going through local auto parts stores. The majority of our communication has been through text, and was very prompt in response time.
I would go to James again for Auto Repair/maintenance because he went the extra mile to help save me money, and he works quick. He made a house call to check on the vehicle, put air in my tires and topped off fluids. I don't remember the last time my usual auto garage worked that hard to earn my business.

I would like to give James at Ard's Auto Repair 5 🌟 absolutely!!!! Fourth of July weekend Sunday morning the gear shift cable went out in my 2007 Buick Rendezvous! I thought great! What mechanic will be available on a Sunday holiday weekend??? Well James was! He did a great job! When I picked up my vehicle he SHOWED me everything he did and more! Honest guy and fair price! my car was disabled from overheating. i found this place on google. i contacted him on a friday around noon. he came over and took a look and asked a few questions. he told me what he thought had happened. we added water and then in the beam of his flashlight we watched it pour out of my broken radiator. from talking to him i got the idea that this wasn't supposed to happen. he took the car and i had it back and fully functional in less than 24 hours.
i've been to fully staffed and stocked service places that weren't this fast. i'm now handing out his business cards like candy.
i'd say the only thing he got wrong in our talk was that he didn't guess that i drive as fast as i do, i might be a little harder on the cooling system than the average user. but as for the car, he knew his stuff.
Hands down the greatest experience, professional and more than reasonable! Very respectful and gives detailed information about what’s, what and how to fix it.
