(December 29, 2021, 2:49 pm)I started going to this camp at the age of 10 apart of my churches father and son retreat, but since my dad was imprisoned most of my childhood I went with my grandfather, brother, cousins and other men and their sons and cousins, including other churches as well. This place was the first thing I was ready for after school ended. I didn't miss a year all the way up till I was 27. the year of 2020 was the last year for Marengo and deep down it broke my heart because this place had a big impact on my childhood, this was my childhood. I hurt so bad that last ride out of the campsite because I knew I'd never see this place again. But as our shirts said when we left. LEAVE A LEGACY.

(December 27, 2016, 9:02 am)This was a great place to have a retreat, especially for how short of a drive from Columbus (about 30 minutes or less.) Plenty of room, spots for activities, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Would definitely recommend.
