Butterfly House

This can be a nice and peaceful stop for your day. The butterfly house itself, which is in the back of the building shop, is kept pretty warm, but the scenery is very beautiful and peaceful. Before you go in, you will get to see cocoons and butterflies coming out of the cocoon. The shop itself is enormous and has a huge varity of novelties, collectibles, ornaments, and more.

Such a unique experience here. The butterflies are absolutely beautiful and the staffs conservation efforts do not go unnoticed. please respect their rule of not touching the butterflies if you go.

We absolutely loved the butterfly house! It’s was $10 for adult, $6 for kids. We spent about an hour here studying the butterflies. Great gift shop!

I recommend a trip through the Butterfly House. It is such an unusual experience that it’s worth it.
The variety of butterflies is very impressive, so you’re likely to see something new or different.
My three and five-year-old got bored and were ready to go before any of the adults in our group. I think they were hoping that a butterfly would land on their hands, but they had trouble holding still… so that did not happen.

There is also a large shop with lots of butterfly – themed items. If you have friends or relatives who like butterflies, you are likely to find something here for them. Our kids really wanted to visit the toy section and it was hard to avoid.

If you're at Put in Bay you NEED to visit this place! Personally, I think it's a great experience for all ages. There were so many butterflies and they will land on you, and you can hold them. While we were there they were releasing the new butterflies and we were able to help release them. It's was my favorite part from my visit at Put in Bay! The price wasn't bad, and they have a nice gift shop also! The butterfly house was very humid and hot so make sure to wear cool clothes.
