Ashton Crossing by Maronda Homes

So far the process has been great with Maronda. Vicki is great, extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. We are excited to break ground and see the finished results!

At this point, we are still at pre construction. Vicki has been wonderful to work with. She gets back to you quickly with answers to our questions and explains everthing very well. The only reason its not a 5 star is some of the options are over priced in my opinion and it gets a little pricey to move the lower level bathroom plumbing to a more sensible location. When you are starting from scratch you should be able to locate the bathroom where you want it. The option alone is $850 and to move it from there standard location is another $500. That's a lot of money for 3 drains.

Overall we are pleased with the house. Some concerns are with electrical and cabinet finish. When they initially installed the breaker box, they placed it in the roughed in bathroom which is a no no. If you make any serious changes to the standard plan pay attention because some of their subs are clueless. The other major complaint is cabinet finish. We paid for a 3rd upgrade and the fit and finish is something Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder would reject. Absolutely unacceptable. Lets see how Maronda handles it moving forward. We also have an issue with our driveway being chipped before we moved in.

After emailing my complaint to the proper channel I recieved a call the same day and Chris was here the next to work at solving my issues. He was very professional and supported my complaints and issued a service claim to get the items fixed. This kind of customer service made me happy we built with Maronda. This is the 4th house we have built and our other builds can't compare. Looking forward to see how the repairs go but kuddos to Chris and his quick response to getting my house fixed.

Beautiful home nice area a bit country in nice community setting

Very nice community in Asheville, Ohio. Family members own 2 homes here and love them! A very pleasant new home community in a lovely rural setting
