Just started going here! Overall seems like an amazing place though. Some of the time the work can be a little much but overall like I said, it seems amazing!

I LOVE IT HERE! I have been going here for about 2 years since 5th grade and I love the school it was really a great place to learn and all the hands on learning stuff is really fun, at my old school I barely had any friends and now I have 16 friends! Biomed has a lot of clubs and programs that help with stem related things. The downfalls this year are mainly caused because of COVID but, the one thing I would change is the amount of work we have to do, if you are considering going you should not be lazy ( even tho I’m very lazy Loll) the work can be stressful at times but I promise it is an amazing school and a good place to be at.

This is a great middle school for kids to learn problem solving and multi-disciplinary skills. The focus is on STEM, but also has a heavy dose of communication skills, including presentations, writing, videos, creation of web pages. More focus on things that help students succeed in long run (managing projects, asking relevant questions, collaborating, finding information that is nebulous) in contrast to learning facts and formulaic steps. There are certainly a lot of academically outstanding students, but I feel the school is also providing fertile ground for traditionally non-honors students to excel. I’ve seen a great deal of pride and ownership by most students in the projects they do and the identities they form. It’s not the right place for all students, as evidenced by the low ratings, but for many students it will change their life for the positive.
