Drake Heating and Air: (HVAC) - Repair, Installation

Where do I start? If you are looking for a company that still has old fashioned family values & service, Drake Heating & Air is for you! It started in December 2022 when we didn’t have heat. For 18 years we have dealt with Stevenson & Sons (Service Experts). They put in our HVAC system. We called them to come an assess the problem. Not only did the Tech show up but also someone to sell me a system. Long story short decided to get a second opinion, so we called Drake Heating & Air. Glad we did! They did a fantastic job not only did the tech access the situation but also made sure that we had heat while awaiting the part needed to repair the system. Not trying to sell us a system. Jump to March 2023. We arrived home from a trip and discovered we had no heat, immediately called Drake an Josh P. came out the next day! He assessed the situation and it was determined that we had three options. There was no pressure involved just talking over the options, answering our questions & giving us as much information needed to make an informed decision. We also love the fact that he was not in a hurry! Not only did he want us to be informed but wanted to make sure that we were comfortable with our decision. How refreshing! We decided to go with a new HVAC system (our current one was 11 years old) with a better warranty and 1/3 the price of what Stevenson had offered to lease us one for 10 years.
Jason S & his team installed our new Rheem system. They took their time, answered all of our questions and left the space better than they found it. Clean, neat and organized! Wow, what a difference.

No high pressure, attention to detail, clean up after themselves. I am impressed also that the technicians take extensive notes & pics on work completed so that the next technician knows exactly what was done. As a customer we were treated with respect, no high pressure tactics, and informed regarding our new system & how to operate it. This is a company that we like to do business with! This is Drake Heating & Air. Thanks! So glad that we contacted them. Truly a company with values.

Josh was FANTASTIC! He came out and practically saved my family’s lives. Our exhaust pipe had been pushed off and to the side, not on the water heater like it should’ve been. Our house was just filing with carbon monoxide, and we never knew. He was very honest about all his findings, and you could just tell he cares more about being honest with people and getting them taken care of than anything else. I never once felt he was trying to be dishonest, or overcharge anything.

I would recommend this company, but Josh specifically! Ask for him when you schedule an appointment!

HUGE THANK YOU and shout out for amazing service and response!! Craig and Jamie both were outstanding and so helpful with getting our air back to running. Our AC stopped working on the hottest day of the year. We called and Craig was here within two hours. Turns out we needed a new fan. This was on Thursday. Craig explained to us that they might have to order the part if they could not get it here in town, and if so they would not be able to get it till the following Monday. I was dreading a whole weekend of suffering through a heatwave with no air and animals to worry about. Friday morning I called and got a hold of Jamie, who was so very nice and helpful. The Warehouse in town had told them that they did not have the part and they would have to ship it so it was looking like it was going to be Monday. Jamie assured me that she would personally check to see if the part was available any sooner or If they could locate one that did not have to be shipped. Within 20 minutes I got a call from Jamie that they were able to get the part. They were able to find the part it did not have to be shipped. She then told me that she was going to have someone pick it up and our technician Craig would be out within 2 hours to put it on. Craig arrived pretty quickly got the part on and got us back up and running all the while being so pleasant and nice. I am so truly thankful for these two and the way they went above and beyond to get this all fixed for us within a 24-hour time frame!!! You guys rock!! I can't express how thankful I am. It's so nice to deal with the company that actually seems to care about their customers and do go above and beyond. Everyone we dealt with was nothing but pleasant and so nice and so accommodating. Thank you thank you!!

I had Josh come to service my a/c unit since it was working correctly. He was very informative and knowledgeable about what he was doing. He answered all my questions and I feel he did a very thorough job. I had no doubt that he not only wanted to fix the unit but that he wanted me to be completely satisfied. He was efficient in his work and willing to spend the time needed to check everything that might be involved in why it wasn't working.

Drake installed my HVAC unit quite a few years ago and I have continued to have it serviced by Drake. The whole team is very nice and willing to help their customers when needed.

I always feel like a valued customer when I call the office for information or setting up service calls.

Josh did my summer tune-up today and he was very professional, thorough and personable. I've been using Drake for maintenance and service for a few years and everyone I've talked to have been nice and reasonable.
