I have both my Mom & Mom-in-Law at this facility. The caretakers are WONDERFUL! However....The phones there are AWFUL! My Mom still has a good mind, and we like to chat a couple of times a day.... As we have for YEARS! Well....I have been informed that if we want to communicate, maybe I should "pay up" for a better phone, or phone company??!! My Mom is on a fixed income, & only receives an extra $50.00 per month for personal expenses....What the heck??!! This needs to be fixed ASAP! (BTW...She's been there approximately one year now.) My frustration is over the top! Who's the "heartless" person that thought this is OK??!! At this point...we shall see what happens....I do appreciate everyone who is taking care of my loved ones...But....this is an issue I cannot ignore...π₯Ί
I have been employed at Bel Air for over 20 years. Bel Air truly cares for the residents and their families as well as their employees and their families! I cannot count the number of times that an employee has purchased items for residents, not because they had to, but because they wanted to! We have had many fundraisers for employees that have fallen on hard times. We may be a small place, but we have big hearts!
I have worked at Bel Air for 11 years and was a nursing instructor at the facility prior to this time. The staff has always been caring and treat our residents like their family. I have worked LTC for over 25 years and the care at Bel Air is second to none. I have personally had a family member that I was ready to place at Bel Air (before he passed) because of the care I had witnessed. If you are in need of a Facility for rehab or LTC, Bel Air should be your choice
Extremely friendly and positive environment! Have worked here going on 6 years and I have been empowered to do anything possible for the residents at Bel Air. And to see to it that they are cared for as best as imaginatively possible! I am the Housekeeping Supervisor and I take pride in making Bel Air a Safe and Clean environment for all! Most especially in this time of Covid!
My Aunt lives here and absolutely loves it! She feels and is safe at Bel Air most importantly. In a public apartment building I felt that she didn't have enough people or the right neighbors to watch out for her appropriately with her condition. At Bel Air I do not worry about her safety! The nurses are very polite. Administration has always been reasonable and fair. Especially with Covid-19 I received and still do receive notification of my Aunt's care often.
