I absolutely loved N.E.A.R. To you! I had a home birth in a birthing pool. My favorite part about doing a home birth was I felt very cared for. My appointments with Rachel were amazing because I could ask any questions I had or any concerns. Rachel is very knowledgeable and going into birth I felt very confident I was in good care. Even after birth I appreciated how she was always a text or phone call away when I was figuring out how to be a mom and especially how to breastfeed. Having a fully natural birth was hard that’s for sure, but my body healed so well after and I loved the confidence in knowing that there was no medicine in my body and I knew exactly what was happening during labor and birth. I highly recommend this midwife service!!

I had a home birth with Rachel a few months ago and it was truly the best experience. Rachel was wonderful throughout our entire time together. She brought a calm and positive presence to all of my prenatal appointments, at the birth, and postpartum visits. She listened so well and I never felt rushed. Communication with her was quick and easy, she was always available for questions between appointments and not only did she come for multiple postpartum visits but she also called and texted to check up on us in between visits as well. She is very knowledgeable and always had helpful suggestions any time I needed them. I felt truly cared for and it made for an enjoyable and memorable pregnancy and birth. This was my 3rd baby but first home birth and although I had always dreamed of a home birth I was apprehensive in the beginning but Rachel really calmed my fears and I felt 100% sure and confident in our choice to have a home birth and in Rachel's capabilities as a midwife. I really can't say enough good things about her and I will forever be grateful for the beautiful birth experience I was able to have in her care. If we are ever blessed with another baby I would be thrilled to have Rachel as my midwife again.

Rachel help me with my last 2 pregnancies. She was wonderful and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her if you are planning to have children and want the best Midwife/Doula in Ohio.

Rachel has been a godsend from my first meeting with her. As a high risk first time mom I needed someone to be with me throughout my labor and delivery, and also someone to guide me in the very complicated and overwhelming childbirth experience in a profit driven society. Rachel advocated for me, taught my husband and myself more than we could have imagined and she literally held my hand through my natural childbirth. My experience in delivering my daughter went flawlessly and I am forever indebted and thankful to Rachel for that. She’s knowledgeable and extremely professional, and she’s a caring and reliable advocate. I would and do recommend her doula services to anyone and everyone.
