The Laurels of Massillon

I am incredibly pleased with the care that my mother-in-law is receiving at The Laurels of Massillon. The admission process was very easy. At the initial care conference, the social worker and the assistant director of nursing were very aware of my mother-in-law's background and answered all of my wife's questions. The staff on her wing are extremely kind and try to motivate her as much as possible. My wife can log in and see exactly what her mom's stats are at any given time. The rooms are very clean and I love that the facility is calm and does not have a "frantic" feel about it. Reception staff are very friendly, as well.

We're so Bless to have found this Facility.The Wound Specialist has done an amazing job with healing my husband foot. If I had only knew about Laurles of Massillon my husband would probably have both of his legs. All the Staff does an amazing job. Because the condition He came in was not good but now I can truly say that They have taken great care of Him.

I have been volunteering at The Laurels for a little under a year now and my experience has been beyond wonderful. Within my time at this facility, it has been apparent to me that each member of The Laurels Team truly cares for each and every one of their residents. Specifically, I want to mention Janice Denny, the activities director who I have been closely working with. She goes above and beyond to plan events and other activities that the residents are always looking forward to. Her kindness and compassion for others truly show through her work. It has been an honor to volunteer at a facility with staff members that are so passionate and dedicated to caring for others’ loved ones.

I've been going to Nursing Rehab communities professionally for over 20 years. The Laurels of Massillon has dedicated staff, starting from the top down. They strive to provide the best, compassionate care for all their residents and keep an impressively clean community. I highly recommend their care and community.

We have definitely had a rough start. But I will say that management staff have been very helpful in trying to sort all of this out. A facility is only as good as the employee that is taking care of a resident. The experiences that we have had were more with certain employees and and not with the facility. Things have been addressed and are improving. The therapy staff is amazing. I would recommend this facility for others.
