(September 26, 2022, 2:19 pm)My Line6 Spider Jam amp got stuck on reboot. Found Audio Mutation on the Line6 website. When I dropped it off, he made an immediate accurate diagnosis and - when it was confirmed later - texted me to give me the status update. He kept me informed on the process throughout. Amp is like new again. Super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable. I had him do a custom job right after that I'm happy with, too.
(July 31, 2022, 9:46 pm)I have a Line6 Helix LT that had a bad motherboard. I found Custom Audio Mutation through Line6's website and called to get my Helix fixed under warranty. Curran was awesome. He kept me up to date on the status of my repair and did a great job. I feel like he treated my board as if it was his.
(December 1, 2021, 3:51 pm)Originally found CAM asking for referrals for amp servicing. Curran repaired and upgraded my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe to basically a new amp. I took a tour of his studio, listened to some of his past work, and signed up for a recording session. My band just finished recording 5 tracks, and it has been the best recording experience and result of my life. Curran is a pro in every sense of the word from fixing amps and guitars, to shredding, producing, and sound engineering. He’s too good to be true, but is. Go ahead and pinch yourself. He’s also a good dude. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact him for amp or guitar repair, sound engineering, and recording.
(October 27, 2021, 6:50 pm)As a female musician, I have a lot of experience with mansplaining, so I’m usually a little wary bringing my gear to a new shop. Curran exceeded every expectation. He walked me through the entire repair process without being condescending, answered all my questions, and had my amp back to me in less time than was originally quoted. All of the repairs and upgrades functioned exactly as expected and were expertly built. Additionally, when a newly replaced tube unexpectedly blew a few weeks later (bad luck with a bum tube), he replaced it and did a quick tune up free of charge since it was part of the initial repair. He’s a great guy, to boot. Highest recommendation.
