Virginia Kendall Area

Ledges were awesome! Me and my furkid had a blast. She being a very active dog really loved jumping from one rock to the other.

I love this park! Just make sure you're wearing good shoes. Lots of steps and uphill walking.

Beautiful place to hike and photograph. The moss is something to see on overcast days.

Virginia Kendall Park is a Gem in Northeast Ohio. There's many many miles of wonderful trails Virginia Kendall lake and hills are some of the most scenic trails around lots of wildlife lots of very pretty Meadows trees flowers wildlife includes beavers coyotes deer and I've never seen any but according to the park system and occasional bear if you're lucky. Great picnicking fantastic trails real good fishing picnicking pavilions icebox cave The ledges are great around the cave lots of History Brandywine waterfall 65 ft high as well as other small Falls can easily spend several days even just within the Kendall trails. Highly recommend a visit anytime.

A great park with a variety of amenities and hiking proficiency levels. Built originally as part of FDR's jobs recovery program after the depression, this is a fantastic park with a great history!
