  the trails could use some maintenance. lots of fallen debris like down tree trunks that could be cut and moved off the trails for easier and safer access. pretty high drop off if you misplace your footing. otherwise its one of my favorite trails to hike during autumn! so many changing leaves.

  Had to stop to see Mary Campbell cave. It was amazing. The rock formations and lush trees were gorgeous. The archeologist and a team of volunteers were engaged in their work, but stopped to take pictures and shared pictures of the area from the 1800s. The people were very nice. The park was clean and well kept. The water was pretty as well. Enjoyed the short walk up the trail to the cave.

  The Gorge is an amazing, beautiful park, and the trails are amazing, been hiking them since I was very young and have been going back since. Been to the Mary Campbell cave for years, it's at the beginning of the top hiking path, basically located north of the waterfall. The top path is closed publicly now after the cave because it's somewhat treacherous but if your into more of an extreme hike it's amazing and the caves that follow are beyond beautiful. Great place to take kids as well.

  Beautiful moderate hike with friends during spring time. Gorgeous rocks.
  Some challenging tree roots and uphill grades. Be careful at the edges of the paths bc of very steep slopes. Especially with small children.

  So pretty, a very pleasant hike. There was a pretty large tree that fell so be prepared to climb. If you're not capable you'll have to turn around and go back the way you came :)

Mary Campbell Cave, also known as the OId Maid's Kitchen, is a rock shelter in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, in Gorge Metro Park, and is accessible on the Gorge Trail. The cave is most notable as the temporary home of Mary Campbell in the late 1700s. Campbell was kidnapped by Native Americans of the Delaware (Lenape) tribe, which later migrated to the Cuyahoga area.
