From the moment I called to inquire about a reservation, I felt like the innkeeper, Ms Ren and I were long lost friends. She was so warm and friendly! Our stay at her inn was so pleasurable! We stayed in the Mary room, which was great. Ms Ren gave us awesome dining suggestions, as well. The inn is perfectly located within walking distance to everything!

Lovely ambience, incredible food, and friendly-gracious innkeepers. This was the perfect place to rest and recharge after a long day of travel from Washington state. Everything was spot on! Convenient location too, with just a short walk to downtown Hudson. We really enjoyed our visit. 😊

Absolutely charming, historic, comfortable & Clean!! The innkeepers……let me just say there are no others quite like Ms Ren & Mr Doug! They provide not only a lovely breakfast but wonderful & memorable conversations. Ms Ren was so helpful in things to do in the area & places to eat. We loved every story she shared & hated to leave! The history of the home & the area is very interesting & well worth learning. It’s very close to hiking trails & plenty of fun little restaurants. If you enjoy history, getting to know other travelers & chatting with Fantastic innkeepers then look no further & book your stay!!! We can’t wait to return to the King guest house.

I stayed 3 nights in Jeremiah room, with its own bathroom. Location was less than a block from Main Street. Rooms were very clean. The furnishings (all but the extremely comfortable beds) were like traveling back in time, very fun to browse around the library and imagine days long, long ago. Ms Ren and Mr. Doug provided conversation around the breakfast table. Loved the stories and getting to know the other guests and what travels and adventures brought them to Hudson, OH. You were given your key and left to make yourself at home to come and go as you please. Take advantage of coffee ready at 7:30 and visit with other guests until breakfast at 9:00. gave it a down home charm... loved my stay!
