(September 7, 2022, 8:24 pm)I had been looking for a church in the Kent-Stow area for quite a while and happened to stumble upon Redemption Chapel. I decided to attend on a whim and 2022 was instantly made better for me. For six months I have been attending Redemption and I feel so much closer to God. The sermons are wonderful, the community is so welcoming and friendly, and I truly feel God was directing me to Redemption. The Young Adult group, NEXT, has also done wonders for me both spiritually and socially. Alex Hotz, the leader of NEXT, is both Godly and relatable. I am able to see him not just as a ministry leader but as a person who goes through similar struggles that I do and is completely open about it. He fosters a warm and spiritual environment that I had been missing in my life for a long time. I only wish I had discovered Redemption Chapel sooner. I absolutely recommend that anyone who is church-hopping and trying to find a church that they feel they can belong to try attending Redemption Chapel. If God can do wonders for a messy, damaged person like me at Redemption Chapel, I have no doubt it can do the same for you.

(April 13, 2022, 4:19 pm)To say that we love RC is an understatement. It’s not a stuffy place, it’s casual. I love that I can invite anyone, from any walk of life & trust that they’ll feel welcome & hear solid teaching from the Bible. Leadership is sold out for Christ. They have a heart for messy people, so I fit right in.

It's pretty big nowadays, but there are plenty of welcoming bible studies and community groups to get plugged into to make friends and get to know other people who go there. The kids ministry and middle school/ high school groups are great too, and have many participants. Free child care provided on Sunday mornings during both services.
