Everyone is so polite and friendly. My dog is dog aggressive (rescued bait dog for dog fighting) and they are always so accommodating to bring her in the back door and make sure no other dogs are around. Dr Carlson is literally an angel and treats my dog with so much affection and love. She LOVES coming to the vet because of him and the wonderful staff.
Wonderful experience with Doctor Bilger. We visited for an appointment with my snake, Orpheus. He gave a very thorough exam, and was kind enough to provide a free ultrasound due to the fact that he was teaching I believe an intern on how to do it on snakes. I would highly recommend Dr. Bilger for all of your exotics vet visits.
Impressed is an understatement! The staff was so kind and knowledgeable. Their interest and passion for animals is evident. Stow Kent is, hands down, the best vet I have ever visited. I feel safe with my senior dog's care in their hands. Came back to this review three months later to add more feedback - Leona was so, so kind and helpful in helping me schedule an appointment for my girl! After visiting another area vet for years (and not having a great experience), I cannot tell you what of a breath of fresh air it is to work with such sweet, knowledgeable professionals. Thank you, Leona!
My doctor this past Friday sat on the floor and played with my puppy. He was so good with her and very thorough as well. I felt at ease and treated so kindly by the staff. Glad I chose this clinic for my sweet Daisy!! ( blind in left eye)
I have been taking my cats here for several years now and have always been impressed with the staff and services. Everyone, from the front desk to the veterinarians, are kind and professional - and it is clear they really care about their patients.
My oldest cat, Cathy, had been developing old lady ailments at the age of 16 for the last year or so. Earlier this month, we were advised she likely had cancer and were advised of our options. We took her home to keep her comfortable and enjoy what were likely our last days with her. A week later, her health had taken a significant turn and we scheduled a quality of life assessment.
We knew coming in that Cathy would be crossing the rainbow bridge that day and I am so grateful for the kindness and compassion my husband and I (and Cathy!) received during our appointment. It is such a difficult thing to lose a member of your family this way and I felt supported every step of the way to make the best decision for Cathy. She was handled with dignity and made to feel as comfortable as possible. In the end, I feel confident we gave Cathy the best healthcare and chance for life we could in her final years and we absolutely could not have done that without the staff here at Stow Kent Animal Hospital. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who asks and am glad my other cat Ghostie will continue to have such dedicated care until he joins Cathy in the big cat tree in the sky.
