  Last week, the handle on my 10-year-old Oreck vacuum cleaner came apart. I took it to Stow's Forrest Vacuum for a repair. They were able to get the part and repair it in just under a week. The price quoted was very reasonable. When I picked it up, they had not only repaired my Oreck, they'd also cleaned and serviced it, replacing the bag, beater brush, and belt, and all for what I had considered a reasonable price just for the repair. I made sure to use the vacuum before I wrote this review and can say that it now works as well as it did when it was brand new. I am very pleased with this shop and will return in the future for any repairs or new purchases. I wish every business I visited were as pleasant to work with as Stow's Forrest Vacuum.

  Many years ago I took in a vacuum to have it repaired. The owner explained the difference between the brand I had brought in and the line they sell, Simplicity. American made and durable. We've had this vacuum cleaner (model 6600) for maybe 7 years and replaced one maybe two belts and the bags of course, that's it. It has really been a great vacuum cleaner. He could have kept repairing my old cheap vacuum and probably made more money but customer satisfaction is obviously more important. Highly recommended!
