BrightStar Care Hudson / Solon

In July of 2020 my father had been hospitalized for approximately 8 days. Before being discharged to his Assisted Living facility I was required to have a party sit with him 24 hours a day until he was cleared from his facility required 4 day quarantine period as he was a fall risk. I reached out to BrightStar with no prior knowledge or recommendation. Once I explained my situation, also I was in North Carolina trying to do this, Pat worked with me and all my challenges whether via e-mail or phone calls as the hospital would tell me he was getting released then not. I had to rearrange everything on a moments notice that also affected BrightStar's staffing. They came through meeting me at every corner. The staff that was sent to help care for my father went above and beyond being a companion and safety net. As I was only allowed to do window visits, I observed the companion help my father eat his lunch (my presence was not known right away). BrightStar's staff were not required to do this as the aides at the Assisted Living facility were to do this if he needed assistance. However, BrightStar's staff just did. During his quarantined period, approximately 5 days, he was restricted to his apartment. They engaged him via conversation and activities. I can't say enough about the professionalism that was extended to me throughout me experience with BrightStar.

I needed an overnight nurse to help care for my mother. BrightStar came to my aide and quickly got her set up with a nurse/CNA. Though I only ended up needing their service for one night, my mother sang high praise of their work. She got her hair brushed, they watched movies and chatted, and her medical needs were cared for. She rested easy and I rested easy. Thanks BrightStar!!
