Maplewood at Twinsburg

My 103 year old step father was living in an assisted living facility on the 4th floor but became overwhelmed with sundowner dementia memory issues. We were using private caregivers and also started him on Continuum Care Hospice who advised us to find a Memory Care facility that could better manage his condition. It was difficult to find a place because my step father would wander the floors at night and all the quality places we visited would not take him until we met Morgan at Maplewood at Twinsburg. Within a week we moved him to Maplewood and the care he received was first class from the staff, caregivers and nurses. My step father lived out his final weeks there and I highly recommend Maplewood.

I am a nursing home administrator and placing my mom in an AL was a tough decision for my family and I. It’s strange being on the other side-the family side. Maplewood was the perfect place to take care of my mom. The DON, Kate, and the Administrator, Susan were amazing and attentive in every way possible. The nurses, Lisa (day and night shift), Michelle, and Haley were so caring and thoughtful. The aides were so friendly. The food is excellent. The activities department is phenomenal. I really can’t say enough. My family and I will always be grateful to this team who cared for my mother.

From the moment you walk in the front door, Maplewood at Twinsburg is a comforting environment. Everyone on their staff goes through a rigorous training program to have the knowledge and experience to take care of resident's needs, especially the unique needs of Memory Care residents. Emily is incredibly informative and helpful while you navigate the process of selecting the best Memory Care Community for your loved one. When walking through, it is apparent that there are many activities and events to keep residents active and engaged. I love seeing smiles on residents' faces!
