(July 25, 2020, 4:15 pm)I worked with reLink Medical to help set up a statewide Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes for IU Health. The process involved either repurposing, recycling or selling surplus medical equipment while maintaining data and patient privacy.
reLink was the 1st company that was honest and followed our instructions. The final result was a unique collaboration with an a incredible team effort.
Most CFOs might be surprised how many leased or consignment pieces of surplus medical equipment are incorrectly disposed of or sold as surplus. The consequences are a financial obligation to the hospital at a later date.
