Tornik Family Medicine

We are newer to Tornik Family Medicine but very pleased we switched! Am so very thankful for all the staff and for Dr Tornik’s time and expertise. We drive 1/2 hour each way but feel it is worth our effort to get there! Thank you all!

Everyone was very professional and nice.
We have only had one visit but Joey was able to find things our pediatrician didn’t. My son has always been “nasally” sounding and we have been to an ent but neither one found anything. She even offered us something to take home and try, which meant no stopping at a store to figure out which brand to buy and spending a fortune on more chemicals than product.
Looking forward to getting the rest of the family scheduled!

We love Dr. Tornik! He has just the right balance of philosophy between modern medicine and natural ways to strengthen and heal. He always takes plenty of time to listen to concerns and connect with us as a family. I question a few of these other reviews if they are reviewing the right place. Like the person who has been taking her child there for 6 years and has never seen Dr. Tornik? She claims she has only seen a nurse practitioner. We have been taking our kids there for almost 5 years and have never seen a nurse practitioner! He's always there, never rushed and ready to listen.

Myself and my two children have been going to Dr. Tornik’s office for over 5 years and I can’t say enough good things. The office staff are kind, attentive and accommodating.
I never feel rushed during appointments and I always feel heard and SEEN. I rarely seek medical care because I lean more towards the holistic route but there are some things I need such as antibiotics at times. I know my body and it’s so rare to go to a medical setting and not have unnecessary medications shoved down my throat. Im trustee when I say, “I know my body”, and that’s huge. I am not a fan of big pharma and how it has taken the health care out of health care…most times, ailments and illnesses are treatable without dangerous chemicals and medicines and I appreciate immensely a practice which supports my views on that for me and my family.

I wish I had found Dr. Tornik and his staff 6 years ago when we moved to Ohio... For once in our life, we are not just a chart, a number, or a 10-minute window in someone's day. How often do kids LOVE their doctor and have full-on conversations with them, and months later STILL be talking about him? He and his staff truly care, they have heard us out, NEVER have I felt rushed or like I didn't have time to discuss ALL of my concerns and needs. Our preference to treat holistically first (when safe and best practice) is embraced, and they have a wealth of information to share... but when modern medicine is needed, it is right there as well! I had always found docs either ALL modern medicine or ALL holistic... and we really needed someone who embraced both. We feel truly safe and cared for, our needs met, no pushing into any treatments we don't agree with, it's been amazing!
PS. Our family drives 1 hour each way to see him, it's WORTH it... and I would drive 2 hours if it meant being able to see him, and not someone else!
