MOD Boutique

I think people need to read the small print before buying items from a boutique or any store for that matter. I have purchased a lot of clothes from this boutique. I have had to return items and I received store credit, like I expected. I have never had a problem washing their clothes. Not only with MOD but other retailers, there are certain articles of clothing that I wash alone on a delicate cycle. And then I hang them to dry. I have never had a problem. I also feel like most of their items are reasonably priced.

I bought a small sample of clothing (two shirts and a pair of pants) because of the reviews on Google and Yelp; I didn't want to be out the money if I didn't like the product. After they arrived, I ended up placing another three orders and completely redid my wardrobe with clothing from this boutique. I love their products and haven't had an issue with quality. I've washed my clothes multiple times, everything has held up fantastic. All of my orders have shipped on time and arrived in the promised timeframe. I haven't had an issue with anything not fitting because the size charts are very accurate. I haven't had to return anything either so I can't speak to that process. The outfit suggestions make it very easy to look put together and like you know what you're doing - I have never been great at putting a stylish outfit together before. I'm so glad I found this boutique, I finally have outfits I love and feel attractive in!

I am not sure why all the bad reviews but if you read the policy you know it is store credit. I have purchased ALOT of clothes with this boutique. Clothes sell out quickly because people love them. There have been a few items that weren't my absolute favorite but I have had that same experience with local stores and even pricier clothes such as Nordstrom that I didn't care for. I have loved most all the items I have purchased with MOD. Their quality in clothes has been good as long as you wash with care and don't dry them. A few items I have been able to dry and they dry well. But just about every item you purchase these days you can't go in the dryer! I had to exchange a couple of items and they exchanged with no problem. I have had to call them before and they were super helpful. My only feedback was to provide if the item has a lot of stretch or no stretch if they are running true to size. I actually have tops on the way so I am always excited to have some of their new items. I get compliments every time I wear their clothes. I have referred co-workers to give them a try.

I had a good experience with this boutique. I ordered a shirt and a dress and while the dress did fit kind of big, the clothes were as expected. I kept them and I enjoy them.

I can understand being frustrated when you feel you can just return something if it doesn't work out and find out that you can't. Also the customer service reviews here deterred me from ordering as much as I had originally planned, just tested out the waters with enough items to get free shipping.

But ultimately I had a good experience so I wanted to share that. With larger businesses, we have become used to hassle-free returns and exchanges. But I can understand why a smaller business would opt not to do that.

They do allow returns but only for store credit. So my biggest objection and the reason for one star deduction is the poor customer service reviews, feeling like if I needed to do a refund, and I need to talk to someone, I might not be able to reach them. This did not happen with me, but it remains a hesitancy for future purchases.

I also recommend using the measurements they provide to determine the best size.
