“We went to Kathleen Gibbs, MD because my son's cub scout pack got 20% of sales for every purchase made last Wednesday night. I'm guessing the MD stands for "moist doughnuts" because they were so moist! We barely needed milk, Kathleen! I still don't know how you do it. Our one small complaint...the bathroom is simply too far away from the eating area. Our son is a portly little fella and once he gets in his "eating zone", there's no distracting him. Midway through the meal, nature called but his little stubby legs couldn't get to the bathroom in time. He pooped right on the floor. They then had the audacity to "parent shame" us into cleaning up after him. Even with that unpleasantness, we'll be back. Thanks Kathleen. Keep those doughnuts moist as the dew of a July morning!”

The owner, Spiro, oversees the daily operation of the estate. He grows and harvests everything by hand, using traditional Cretan methods, which yield the highest quality artisan produce, olives and sea salt. The Agia Sea Salt. At first glance, Agia Sea Salt looks like other artisan sea salts. Snow white flakes and nuggets. The crystals are semi-hard and crunchy. The crystals are hard enough for a salt mill, yet soft enough to easily break apart between your fingers for sprinkling on your favorite dishes. The taste is fresh, clean and balanced with subtle minerality, making it a perfect choice for both the kitchen and dining table. As a self-appointed home chef and food enthusiast, I was interested in seeing first hand how sea salt was extracted from the sea and what makes Agia Sea Salt so good. So, while visiting Crete, I was fortunate to be given a personal a tour by Spiro, the owner of Agia. He showed me how his team brings his salt from sea-to-table, by the centuries-old method in which Agia extracts it’s salt from the sea. As the tide recedes back to the Aegean Sea, the low tide exposes porous volcanic rock, which quickly dries from the the hot Mediterranean sun, leaving pure salt deposits. These crystallized deposits are quickly scooped up by hand in “salt spoons” by skilled and nimble salt harvesters. Once harvested, the salt goes through a quality control process, in which larger, non-salt particles like rock fragments are removed. The salt is then packaged by hand and ready for use. This is among the best sea salt I’ve ever used and I routinely give jars of it to my home cook and chef friends.”

“Dr. Williams has been our Dr. for 10 plus years- when my now 9 y/o son was a baby I went through 2 different pediatricians trying to figure out what was wrong with his hearing. Both Dr’s. Dismissed my concerns. Finally, I took him to see my husband and I’s Dr.- Dr. Williams- and she diagnosed a hearing issue and immediately sent us to an ENT. There was in fact a major issue. When he had surgery the ENT said we were mere moths away from severe hearing loss. I am so thankful for her and her staff. After that we switched all 4 of our kids over to her and have always had great experiences. She’s also extremely personable. My oldest boys are now 25 and 20 and they feel so comfortable with her. I thoroughly enjoy my relationship with Dr. Williams because she’s not just my Dr, but truly feels like a friend.”

Most places will only serve food they made hours ago when it's that late. Place is also super clean inside and has always had clean restrooms when I've stopped. I've seen Chick-fil-A's that aren't even run as good as this place.”
