Excellent beer! Everything I tried was amazing, even the stouts and fruit beers, of which I am not usually a big fan. The food was good enough... The House Cesar dressing on my salad was more like a creamy Italian and the beer cheese with my pretzel was good but unremarkable. Service was good for a very busy evening. Fortunately we were not in a hurry. Highly recommend for the beer!
This has got to be one of the coolest locations for a brewery you'll ever come across. Located in an old foundry, the space is large, with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have tons of TV's as well, making this a great spot to watch sports. The food menu is full of standard brewery fare, though the Detroit style pizza was a nice touch and was quite tasty. The pretzel was also good. They of course have a ton of great beers on tap. I recommend getting a flight so you can try a handful of their options. Service was friendly as well.
It was my first time visiting and I hope I’ll be back. I got here by bike on the trail and it was a great stop. Cool aesthetic, great food, and a perfect day, it couldn’t have been better. I got the Pickle Bacon pizza and it was a lot of food for one person, but it was good enough to keep going. The white sauce on top made a nice creamy contrast to the bacon texture and tang of the pickles. I do miss some sort of bottom layer sauce, but was still really good. I’m definitely planning on making this a regular place to stop.
Cool spot for a brewery. Food is pretty good for a brewery. The waiter this visit was very nice and on top of all the patio tables, clearing plates and making sure our drink needs were met. Sabot is my favorite staple beer of theirs. The house made pickles are excellent on their own. I also think they make their own chips.
It is quirky to come to this place, Know that parking is available as you go to the back end because all of the entrance parking spots are made for the people who live there. This is a place to bring somebody or friends for its quirkiness. To be able to make factory apartments and then stick a brewery inside of the same facility is pretty balsy. I wouldn't mind visiting somebody here and seeing how they have it set up. The rest of the reviews will tell you the same thing I'm going to say. The beer is okay and the food is okay You won't be disappointed but you won't be wowed either.
