Scott and his team were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the process. He took the time ti clearly explain the process and each step along the way and I always felt like my best interest was his focus.

I retained Mr. Russell to handle my dissolution with children and we discussed all options and he helped establish a fair and reasonable shared parenting time schedule with my ex-husband. He excels at negotiations and unlike many people, I understand that there is no winner in divorce/dissolutions/custody matters. It is imperative to reach a reasonable resolution rather than "beating your former spouse in court". I agreed with Mr. Russel that it is far better to try and resolve issues between the parties rather than leaving it up to a Judge. Simply put, there are things that you have to give up in return to acquire the things that matter most to you. Our dissolution was fairly easy and was completed in under 3 months which required both parties to be amenable (not always the case which can drag things out). Mr. Russell also proved to also be an excellent reference when I moved out of state in search of a new job. He is a class act and don't be fooled by his easy going demeanor to mean that he is passive or easily manipulated by opposing counsel. His ability to keep a cool head and calm demeanor allows for a more positive outcome for his clients. He cares about his clients and he will give you straight answers rather than making promises which is often times misconstrued by the lay person who may not understand the processes of litigation.
