(July 15, 2022, 2:30 pm)I’ve been working at Otterbein since January and I’ve got to say it’s a lovely environment to work in! The staff and residents are so friendly and there are many facilities available. Unfortunately I leave for college next month but I have already made arrangements to return in December! I highly recommend living and/or working here!!

Otterbein offers a great array of activities that range in activity level. We have so much fun here as a community, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a job or of course a place to retire and live.

I decided to look at working here because my grandfather was a resident here a few years ago and loved it. I truly believe him moving here added the last few years to his life. He was happy here and made friends and enjoyed his shopping trips and several other things that happened around campus. I highly recommend Otterbein as a place to work and live.

(May 30, 2022, 5:56 pm)My husband and I have lived in a beautiful patio home for almost 4 years, and it was the best decision we ever made to move here. It's so relaxing to sit on our patio and see the open view, the sunsets, and lights from below (we are on a slight hill), and waving at neighbors passing by. We have met many wonderful friends and neighbors, and have enjoyed our "partners" (employees) here at Otterbein. We all seem to help each other in many ways. The Otterbein Home Health Therapists were such a great help to Mel when he had his back surgery. We enjoy all the activities, the Gym, Theater, and Art Studio. Also the 1912 Restaurant, Great Wave Cafe, Koi Cafe, and the Hibachi dinners. I don't believe there is any better place to spend our "downhill" years.
