“This is my children's second time attending COA and they have absolutely loved it both times. We moved the first time and were extremely sad to leave. After coming back almost 5 years later they still remembered and were excited to see my littles so grown up. It was like bringing them back to family. Every day that I bring them there I leave confident knowing that my children will be greatly taken care of. Today was my babies first day back to school and he had to get picked up by COA and I was so worried he wouldn't know what to do. He just turned 6 less than a month ago. I called to make sure he was picked up by them and was safely brought back to the center. it was Tonya who answered and made me feel at such ease. She let me know that no teacher who was there to pick him up would ever leave the school without having him unless they were told otherwise by me that he wouldn't be there to be picked up. That made me feel so much comfort knowing that i know they will always lookout for him. THANK YOU! I love you guys and all you do! “Great education facility, and great adult ed program. Hugely improved from what it was ten years ago when I went for welding. David Guinn, the adult ed department head, is a man who really cares about the school and the students. If you sign up for the advanced manufacturing technology adult ed course, you will get a lot of great hands on experience, as well as a complete knowledge base. A piece of advice about the advanced manufacturing technology instructors: let Steve Abner do most of the teaching you receive, he is simply better at teaching. The other instructor, who co-teaches the course alongside him, Jeff, has his moments where he can really shine, but don't let him push you around and mess with you too much. My experience with Jeff has been mostly him telling stories about all the places he has traveled to and worked at, and telling me to "figure it out" and not actually helping or explaining things, or teaching, whenever I asked him for help or to explain something, and micromanages you. You might as well be learning without an instructor if Jeff is involved, because you are not being taught, anyway. Don't let him push you around, and turn to Steve for help and instruction.”
