i’ve been buying from these guys for the last few months at frostville. Best quality meat products around, and the pick up is always simple and smooth. their maple syrup is to die for too. can’t find anything like this at the grocery store. grateful to have found quality local meat made with love!

If you ask me what is my favorite product, I'll have the hardest time answering you because I love all of it! The beef is a chef's kiss and their sausage is the only sausage I buy and actually like! I am not a sausage fan, so that says a lot. Their eggs are GOLD! Somehow flavorful on their own. The yolk is so rich and a deep yellow. So much better than any store bought eggs!

    - I want to add, they added in pastured raised hens for eggs and they're a game changer! Eggs tended to.. sometimes have that "twist your stomach" kind of taste (if you know, you know). These do NOT! They taste ... clean? The yolks are always a deep orange and cakes/breads come out super rich and tend to look more yellow due to the yolk color. These are my favorite to use for my baked goods. Elm Run, I don't know what I would do without y'all. Thanks for giving us such high quality food.

I wanted to find real meat from real honest workers. And here I am at Elm Run Farms. The meat is noticeably different. Sometimes store bought meat had a... taste.. if you will. It could turn your stomach. Or was super fatty. This meat is NOTHING like that. The burger meat was almost fall a part in your mouth tender (and this was just for tacos) and the sausage meat (for gravy) tasted more like a piece of meat rather than oily, fatty sausage. And the maple syrup....? Just buy it. It's the best maple syrup I have ever had. I can't go back to super market meat after this.

I wanted to add an update about the farm since I have been using it for 8 months. I LOVE getting update emails from Sandy. You feel like you are a part of the farm, you care for the animals & learn to love & appreciate all the hard work & struggles farm life can have on you. I have finally jumped full in and bought my very first half a cow! I also plan to buy a whole hog. Yes, I LOVE this farm THAT much.

The pork chops (bone in) are AMAZING. The fat that comes with it is similar to bacon ends, we eat the entire thing! The fat is delicious and there is no reason at all to cut it off. It's crisp, yet soft. I sound crazy writing that but it's true. We have always been told animal fat is a big no, toxins can build up in the fat. Not with these animals. And you can tell a huge difference. It is creamy in color and delicious.

The whole chickens I roast (lower, at 325F) comes out SO juicy, literally, clear liquid comes out when I cut into it and the chicken leg bone slides right off when it's "perfectly cooked" and It's perfect every.time.! The chicken wings crisp up amazing as well.

The beef is what sold me. It has a yellow fat color. Which everyone should know, means a very happy & healthy cow that is able to graze on green pastures. And because it's healthier, it tastes better!

I still stand by what I said, their maple syrup is amazing! :)

I hope our local neighbors understand how blessed we are to have pasture raised meat right at our finger tips available for purchase. I will not source my meat any where else ! I also source my salt here.

There isn't any better and cleaner meats in this county as far as I'm concerned . From chicken to roast beef to pork roast to sausage. We are truly lucky to have consiencious farmers in Wayne County
