Galehouse Lumber

I have been working with Galehouse Lumber (Matt Gruver specifically) and they have been great. My lumber order isn't the largest order by any means and Matt has still made me feel like a valued customer. I was able to order my trusses and lumber package through Galehouse with ease. The response time has been great as well. I highly recommend Galehouse to anyone looking to get building materials from somewhere other than the big box stores.

My 20x22 garage need a new roof down to the rafters. I choose Gail house because its a real real lumber company that get its lumber by train as train tracks run thru the yard. I bought all my lumber for the garage 2/6, 5/8"p plywood sheets, and Gail house delivered it from Doylestown to My home in Akron Oh. I was so impressed that when a tree in august 019 put a hole into the garage Gail house was the 1st call I made. Lumber is to be delivered Monday 10/7/019 . Anything else I need for this repair will be bought form Gailhouse. I know of no other lumber company in Summit, Wayne, or Stark that can match Gail House and that includes Carter Jones.Home depot, Lowes which are not real lumber stores.

Love galehouse lumber!! My husband and I went here to get the materials to put in a trex deck. Tim Booth was incredible!! So helpful and always available whenever we needed. Very knowledgeable about the products. Would definitely recommend galehouse to anyone looking to put in a wood or trex deck.

After deciding to build a garage myself, I stopped in Trusco to explain the trusses I wanted. They were extremely helpful, but wouldn’t sell to me directly, so I went next door to Galehouse Lumber and spoke with Tim Booth about getting them and the lumber for the project. Tim sat down and figured up all the materials I’d need for my garage and was extremely helpful throughout the project. He had all my materials delivered the exact day and time they said and even exchanged several of the materials that I changed along the way (2x6 instead of 2x4) or just weren’t up to my quality standards (warped or split boards.) When all was said and done, any leftover materials were picked up and refunded. Prices were all extremely comparable to everywhere else I checked, but the free delivery, exchanges, pickup and personal touch they offered made it a no-brainer for me. I sure hope I never have to build another one, but if I did, I’d happily return to Galehouse for my lumber.
