River's Edge Campground and Resort

This place is gorgeous 😍. The little lake at the beginning of the campground is lovely. There is a decent playground and a pool. The campsites are well maintained and well spaced. We stayed in one of their adorable cabins and don't regret it. Each campsite has its own picnic bench and a campfire ring. Our cabins bedroom window opened to the lake 😍 They are pet friendly but be sure to read the rules. The staff was very accommodating and nice. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and provided great directions. Would 100% recommend to anyone in the area.

We have a seasonal here, and absolutely love it! There's both children and adult activities every weekend.
The owners have worked hard in all of the renovations to the campground. It's a wonderful atmosphere and a great place we call our second home.

Having broken down on the highway, this place was able to accommodate us. Even with Labor Day weekend approaching and they were booked up, they were able to move us (5th wheel) and continue to accommodate us not knowing how long we'd be there!! As for the grounds it's really a great area!! Plenty to do for children, activities planned on weekends, fishing and swimming on site! Restrooms and showers are immaculate and new!! If it was closer we'd definitely travel here for weekend getaways!

Disclaimer, I prefer to tent camp with electric. I stayed at this campground with my kids during the week to get an actual experience of the facilities and feel out the area. We stayed Tuesday through Thursday in June. First things first, the bathrooms were EXCEPTIONAL, so clean and nice! They don't have the common bathroom smell of other campgrounds, I was amazed. I saw someone come clean the bathrooms and showers twice everyday of our stay. Second, there is so much for kids to do. There was a newly installed slushy machine in the front office/store which is great for kids. They have 2 fishing ponds and a swimming pond with a beach area. A really nice play ground and giant jumping pillow. There was also a game room with some arcade games as well an area with table and chairs for bingo. Those bathrooms off the bingo area also EXCEPTIONALLY clean. Third, check in was so easy we had no issues the whole time we stayed. The price for tent site with electric and water spout was only $35/night. I didn't hear a lot of loud people or partying during the night and the entire campground is well maintained. You can definitely tell the owners are putting a lot of work into this place. Everyday we saw different types of work being done, even though we only noticed while swimming as the pond is right off the main path in and out of the park. The only issue was the swimming pool was not open. I did meet some other seasonal campers who said the owners are on a list to have the pool inspected and they can't open it until after inspected. But you can tell this place is only going one way, UP! I would say if you are looking for a place that is safe, clean, and fun give this place a chance!!!

Great place for camping. They always have events for kids and adults. Great DJ's and bands. Everybody makes you feel welcomed. Staff and owner's.
