“Have to edit my review to 5 stars. The last two years, I have gotten the best hanging baskets from Petitti's. I plan on re-landscaping the front of my house and will definitely look to them as I compare a couple of nurseries. They have a broad selection and some very unique plants/flowers. Although a bit pricey on some things like their quarts ($7.50 for an ordinary geranium is pushing it. I'd be on board for about $4.50), most everything is worth it bc of the health and heartiness of their plants. Lastly, if you wanna spend a nice afternoon with your Mom, take here. Mom's love this place like. Its like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory but for flowers and such. My tradition for Mom, every year, is to get her two hanging baskets for Mothers Day and take her out to shop for her plethora of patio plants. She's so proud that they are from Petitti's. "They're the best you know," she tells everyone. Lol.”

“My dad had bought yellow roses every anniversary, and other occasions, for my mom since I was young. After he passed my brother and I continued to get her yellow roses. I say that to say, I know yellow roses. This past weekend was my mom's memorial service and I ordered a dozen yellow roses from my favorite florist when I lived in Lorain, Zelek's. I sat in my car and cried when I picked them up. They were the most beautiful yellow roses I had ever seen in my life. I didn't ask for a vase, so they were wrapped up with greens and baby's breath. Every single person that came commented on those stunning roses. The person that took my order, to the staff that handed me tge flowers were all courteous and lovely. “All my friends and I buy our plants and yard flags and potting soil here. This a family owned business and they have a friendly and knowledgeable staff. As I walked through the nursery a young gentleman asked me if I needed help and took me to the Shasta daisies. Later I asked one of the ladies about some of the plants that I wanted to buy and which ones would look best together. Two senior ladies were looking to buy some plants to attract hummingbirds and that's what I wanted so they told me about the vermilionaire plant. It looks like a tiny fuchsia plant. Then I headed to the checkout and Adeline greeted me warmly and with a big smile. She told me that indeed the hummers would love my new plant. She placed my plants in a box so that they wouldn't tip over and wished me a happy holiday weekend. They treat you like family here and you won't get that at the big box stores. Their plants are grown with love.”
