I absolutely love this school & everyone who works there & so does my son!!! First year here with my 4th grader who used to hate going to school, it was a daily struggle until trying Summit Academy. I'm so grateful that I found out about this school for him. He comes out of school happy & eager to go back the next day. I can't tell you what that means to me as a parent not to see my son cry & make himself sick about going. The staff has been amazing so far & my son loves taking martial arts! If you're having seconds thoughts about trying this school, don't! I only wished I had found it sooner!”

“My son has only attended for two weeks, but so far we’ve been nothing but impressed! About two months ago we reached out to schedule a meeting. Laurie told us all about the school and answered any questions. She gave us the opportunity to visit the classrooms and see how things run. My husband went to a Montessori school as a child, so he experienced a flood of happy memories. It was everything he dreamed of for our active little boy. We returned the next week with our little boy so he could join a class. The staff wanted to see how he fit in. Everything felt good, so we moved forward with enrollment. He’s currently doing day care, but will do preschool this coming fall. Our plan is to do three full days a week (you can do full or half days, 3-5 days a week). To start the process of getting our son comfortable, they like to begin with five days. If possible, they like for one parent to stay with the child so they can leave early (probably a half day to start). This is allowing our son a smooth transition. Every child is different, so things can be adjusted depending on how they handle it. I look forward to posting again later once we’ve spent more time here and learn more. But we love this place so far!!”

“Terrific school system. Very community-oriented. Teachers are there for the kids! It would be great if Financial Literacy courses were available to the juniors and seniors as mandatory electives. The small system allows for kids to get to know each other no matter what grade he/she is in. The older students are able to walk down and tutor/assist with the younger students. So glad our children went here.”

“I am so happy that I switched my daughter to TLE. Over the past year, she has gained confidence in herself. We’ve been able to keep on with milestones as she’s preparing to move to pre-k. She loves the environment and I love how clean it is. If the weather is cruddy, there’s a fantastic indoor imagination area for the kids. The lunches provided are a nice variety. I’m thankful for the caring teachers and staff.”

Her teaching style is so friendly and encouraging and makes you feel like you really can learn to do anything with your body, no matter where you're starting. I also love how much she knows about music and how open she is to learning about the cultures of these practices. Highly recommended, especially for beginners!”
