He is prompt with follow up with parents when a concern does arise. He handels situations professionally and courteously. “I have been a member of this Y for many years as my daughter is a member of the gymnastics team and has taken classes since she was 3 years old (she is almost 11 now). I absolutely love the gymnastics program and the coach Ms. Karen. They have been very supportive of her (and my 2 other daughters') growth and potential over the years. The Y itself is a family and child friendly environment with many warm and engaging personalities. My children have also taken part in the soccer program and they choose the most dedicated people to be coaches. I am attached to this place and have nothing negative to say about it. You won't regret choosing this one.”

“I love fit by 5!! We started our daughter here in their “perky kids” program as soon as she turned 2. She went from having severe attachment fits when I dropped her off to running into the class without saying bye. The owner Jim is so helpful, and the teachers in her class are all great. You can tell that the staff really cares about their students. I love that during her short intro to school she does a wide variety of educational activities. I always hear her singing songs she must have learned during her classes!”

They had show and tell once a week, a monthly calendar, snack, 3 field trips and etc. The church people were very nice as well, and give a lot to the community. Highly recommend!”

“I attended Ridge for all four years yes we have ups and downs like all high schools but you will not find a high school with faculty better then this one with the stereotypes facing young black men and the area where the school is located the teachers took that in and still gave 100% focus and help to the students regardless if the students wanted it or not i remember missing days of school only to get calls from my teachers telling me to get up and get here now lol they were more then just teachers of education they helped with life situations and troubles Walnut Ridge is a great school with caring and loving faculty which has made a great transformation in my four years there and I am proud of the faculty and Mr.Walker and im proud to call myself a Scot Alumni.
