Such great care, intentional staff, and amazing playground! They also showed our 3-year-old (and us) how capable she was by giving all the kids little jobs, teaching her how to put on a coat, and even how to prepare some food. Can't speak highly enough of Gingerbread!

I went to this place when I was a kid and I absolutely loved it. I cannot express how much I want to put my daughter there and have her make the memories of becoming a Elf or a Scotty 💙 I fondly remember teacher Sky. They even made scrap books when you graduated with pictures of all your friends and everything important and even the simplest things. I know it’s been 20 years and the place looks a little worn down but it’s all the love of kids that left their impression in those rooms, deck, playground. I’m currently looking for a place for my daughter before the 20th and that opens at least 6am. I don’t trust anyone with my babe and I’ve never had to do this before so it’s scary... but if your reading this go and look and see this place. It might not be exactly the same but I’d be back there in a heartbeat.

I recently came to this store because of an amazing deal! Lorena helped me so much and then some! I also noticed they offer 30% off for military discount which is amazing! I forgot to get my color swatch and went back the next day. Lorena ran it out to my car for me so i didn’t have to get my daughter in and out of her car seat! Amazing customer service! Went to that place when it was the wonder-place of Pumpkin Shell (early 1970's). Worked in it when I was a young lady and it was Gingerbread (late 1980's). BEST nursery/preschool I've ever attended/worked in.

Karen Diers was the Pied Piper of children... I can only assume her daughter (now owner) only has the same abilities.

I remember in early seventies, having control over a classroom by letting the children think for themselves was quite a surprising/revolutionary thought. Montessori ideas in child development is what I remember Pumpkin Shell respecting and using as a teaching plan.

This had a wonderful part in helping me grow up to be an individual who can think on her own!

Our grandchildren, for whom we are the primary caregivers, attend Gingerbread Nursery School. This is a wonderful environment for children to grow, learn and experience the world around. All of the staff are dedicated and kind, very responsible. It is clean, safe and fun. Our kids are on special gluten-free, dairy-free diets and the entire group of teachers is very mindful of this. We highly recommend Gingerbread Nursery school, our kids love it there!!!!
